Helping Sisters Find their Way Home. This outreach is dedicated in helping women in area shelters receive the resources including NEW underwear which they need, coupled with motivation to revive their Hearts & Spirit.
Adopt-A-Sister- A direct outreach and mentoring partnership between a Sister in the shelter and a Sister with a Heart for Outreach. Encouraging Cards, Prayers, Toiletries and Love are recommended Gifts of Love for the Sister in the Shelter. In 2006 Sisters donated more than 300 items of clothing to women in The Harriet Tubman Shelter, along with contributing more than 800 Pairs of New Undergarments to women who previously had to wear Old (Although cleaned) Undergarmets.
+ Provided a table for the Sisters during our PossibiliTEAS ladies Tea at The Camelot of Upper Marlboro in April 2006 where the ladies were treated to hair & beauty treatments, manicures and new outfits for the affair.
+ Treated ladies to a table for the Sisters4Sisters Silent Tears No More Domestic Violence Prayer Breakfast at Martins Crosswinds in November 2006.
+ Helped 3 Sisters move from the shelter to apartments and homes with the help and assistance from churches and support from the community
+ Provided Holiday 2006 cheer for 30 Sisters from the shelter with New Coats, Scarves, Hats, Gloves, Toletries and Inspirational Books.
+ Donated 3 computers to set up resource center for Women in the Shelter designed to enable them to remain connected through the internet for job resources and communications with their Adopted Sisters. | |

| Mentorship program which encourages at risk young women towards making better life choices. After a series of life changing workshops and classes our vision is to present them in a ceremony in honor of their womanhood. | Ladies in Waiting |
| This program seeks to uplift and encourage women who are waiting for the man God is preparing for them. Abstinence and Celibacy is the theme for this group who is "Single yet Satisfied". It is designed to promote a healthy, single Christian lifestyle while promoting positive self esteem and positive self image for single women of all ages. Bi-Weekly Friday night meetings are projected for 2006. | |

| A benefit of being associated with the organization. If a Sister is troubled and facing hard hardship the organization seeks to not only help in prayer and encouragement, but we assist in all areas where resource are available. This year with the help of partners, area churches and friends we were able to assist a Single Woman who adopted 3 children, all under the age of 3 with Holiday Cheer and assistance throughout the year. Sisters4Sisters, Inc. also contributed more than $2,000 to other Sister outreach causes to assist in our effort to collectively make a difference..Collaboration...not Competition is the Mission of Our Sisterhood. | |
| LOVE (Leave Out Violence Everyday) |
| This program is designed to provide information and resources for victims of Domestic Violence. The goal is to promote LOVE of Self through a network of professionals and services dedicated to help set women Free. Sisters4Sisters, Inc. hosted, Silent Tears No More -Prayer Breakfast in October 2006 , with nearly 300 guest at Martins Crosswinds in Greenbelt, Maryland. LOVE conducts LIVE Teleconference workshops in 4-Week segements touching the lives of women across the country who are Survivors or those touched by Domestic Violence in our Community. |

| Our yearly donation to needy families in our community and it is not only filled with goodies, including food and a basket full of love and encouragement. We were blessed to provide 25 complete Holiday Food Baskets to families in need, as well as contributing to 3 Sister organizations within our community. | |

This season is designated to share the greatest gift of all...the reminder of the Miracle of Jesus. We also adopt families to help brighten their holiday season with food, toys and inspirational gifts. In 2006 we not only adopted The Harriet Tubman Shelter for Women (See Above) but we also provided more than 175 toys to children in need throughout our community as well assisting a community of disadvantaged youth in our area. Our goal is to ALWAYS remember the True Reason for the Season...Jesus !
